Who I am
My name is Brooklynn Gray and I am a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico. For my final masters project I chose to curate an art exhibit and event.
I asked my artists a simple question to guide the piece they made:
What represents you as a Black woman?
The exhibit is a representation of who Black women are, who they have been, and what they are becoming. The event is a show of community, support, and love that we all have to give one another during such tumultuous times.
I hope to host more exhibits and events like this one. I hope to continue to gather the community together to celebrate our accomplishments and appreciate all our work.
